We are a private studio located in NE Columbus that focuses on individual and small group instruction. We offer an array of options for learners of all ages and abilities, from half hour weekly lessons to daily sessions. We also do special musical activities for outside groups upon request. Please read below to learn more about us and our mission.
We specialize in working with children with autism (see special needs division or email with questions). However, all our teachers have been traditionally trained, and we also work with typical children! About half of our students have autism, and the other half do not. Our students vary widely in their ages, talents, and more. Please do not be discouraged about signing up your typical child because of our specialty -- we love and are trained with typical children (and adults) too.

For that reason, we feel strongly that every student participate in music theory during lessons or take theory classes. We also offer opportunities for students to hone their listening and theory skills through computer programs, and to take part in group lessons, ensemble coaching, and performance opportunities.
Every student is capable of studying music, no matter what his or her physical, mental, or emotional condition is. No student is "not smart enough" or "not talented enough" to study music. If the student is willing to put forth effort with a teacher who can uniquely find and make use of the student's natural learning styles and abilities, that student can and will succeed. That's why we offer a teaching style that is as unique as your child - we carefully match our approach to what your child needs to succeed, and we don't compare students to one another. Every child's strengths and weaknesses are unique, and so are their individual lessons.
Teaching music to children with autism is very important, and a studio specialty. Approximately 50 percent of our students are on the spectrum, and we are trained to handle children with behavioral, speech, sensory, and other problems.
